Last week was the ribbon cutting ceremony for Eagle College Prep Elementary School. This is the school's first year in operations. Both Luke and Lauren attend there. Lauren was chosen to help cut the ribbon and was also given a chance to speak at the ceremony. She was chosen because she has shown great leadership skills and is very friendly and helpful. She was chosen by the teachers and the staff at the school. She was so excited and so were we.
The third graders also got to present the Eagle Pledge after the ribbon cutting ceremony.
What a great opportunity for her. The principal, Mr. Kremer, could not say enough good things about her. It is nice to see her doing so well at her first ever full time school.
